This report was carried out by Department of Psychology, University of Plymouth, under subcontract to LGC. It deals with the role human error has to play in inaccuracy of analytical measurement. The report explores which human factors contribute to the unreliability of analytical measurement, and suggest how these problems may be remedied. Factors affecting performance include memory, attention, misreading, decision making, environment, etc.
