Evaluating Confidence in Analytical Measurement Part (a): Review of sources of uncertainty in derivatization, digestion, dissolution, distillation and extraction
This report considers the sources of uncertainty arising from various processes used in sample preparation from the taking of a test portion from a sample, through to the point where some form of analytical operation is performed. This includes a vast number of processes and this report has of necessity been selective. It concentrates on the following processes:
- Derivatization
- Digestion
- Distillation
- Dissolution
- Extraction
