Electrochemical measurements

Activities include:

  • Active research in the area of pH standards - in particular - the study of the Harned Cell as a primary method for pH measurement.
  • Co-operating with the RSC's Electroanalytical Group to organise seminars that raise and discuss issues relating to current pH topics, for industry and academe.
  • Working, in collaboration with IUPAC to establish a new, improved and more rigorous international definition of pH.
