Basic
skills in Preparing Solutions of Known Concentration
This section provides a checklist of the topics an analyst should know and the technical skills that are
required to prepare solutions of known concentration to the accuracy specified. There are some handy tips
and suggestions of practical tests and/or observations that enable the competence of the trainee to be
assessed.
The material should therefore be used by an assessor and / or experienced analyst to aid the training
of staff who have little experience of working within a laboratory.
